A few weeks ago we took a short little road trip to Stephenville and these are just a few of the images I took driving. This involved a lot of me asking my husband to turn around so I could go take a picture. He was such a good sport about and 'didn't even complain. I am such a lucky girl.

New to the blog thing

Ok, so I feel like I need to tell you something. I am new to blogging. I know it is all the rage and everyone is doing it so I finally gave into the peer pressure and I am giving it the old college try.

I just want to say I am sorry if it is not what you are expecting.

I will try to add text to my work as often as I can so you know what is going on. This blog will primarily be photos, so if you like pretty pictures please continue to check back.

So today, I was attempting to finish up my new website and the kids wanted to head outside. I finally gave in, seeing as how we had been indoors all day. We went in the backyard, daddy worked on the sprinklers and the kids began to reek havoc all around the yard. So what do I do??? Well, what any good mom would do, I grabbed my camera.

So today I had this really great idea to hang bright colors on a line behind my kids to see how it would photograph. I really like the results and I think I am going to try to do this tomorrow for some class pictures at my kids preschool.

So yesterday I had the opportunity to photograph John, Shantel and their massive Great Dane, Chloe. John scheduled this session as a surprise for his fiance and she was completely shocked at how sweet he was. Seriously, not that many of us would think to give someone you love a photo session with their beloved, aging dog. So sweet. I cannot wait to photograph their wedding this June, it is going to be beautiful.
